KILLER WHALE DANCE RATTLE by late Haida Nation master artist Darrell LeBlanc

These dance rattles are really important and are used in almost every ceremony of the First Nations peoples. Darrell carved it all around, superb expression, showing the motion of the Whale when swimming! Excellent masterpiece, eyes are inlaid with Abalone - These are very hard to find these days. The Quality is truly amazing. so much detail and yet simple, elegant and just - beautiful. This piece was one of his latest pieces before he sadly passed away. Powerful sound!!!
